UBS has promoted its U.S. prime brokerage sales chief to oversee its entire prime brokerage effort in the country.
Chris Hagstrom was named to the newly-created post, HFMWeek reports. Hagstrom has spent nine years at UBS' prime brokerage, and formerly worked at SG Cowen Securities.
Hagstrom's appointment follows Reinhardt Olsen's hire as global head of prime brokerage in June, replacing Paul Galietto, who became head of equities for the Americas at the bank.
