An English county pension fund has hired Brevan Howard Asset Management.
Brevan Howard was selected from 30 applicants for the mandate from the Shropshire County Pension Fund. The £1.25 billion pension had sought one or more managers to handle a hedge fund allocation with client-specific performance objectives.
Brevan received the allocation on Aug. 1.
