Bank of America mortgage and securities products chief Michael Nierenberg is moving to Fortress Investment Group.
Nierenberg will serve as a senior member of the firm's private-equity group, with a focus on residential mortgages, The Wall Street Journal reports.
Nierenberg has served as global head of mortgages and securitized products at BofA since 2008, following a career at Lehman Brothers, Bear Stearns and JPMorgan Chase.
