DB Beefs Up Fund Services Sales Team

Deutsche Bank has hired JP Morgan vet Jason Sheller as head of sales for fund services in the Americas within its global transaction banking division.

Sheller has more than 20 years of experience in sales, primarily in the alternative fund services space. He most recently served as an executive director in private equity services sales at JP Morgan.

Sheller, who has joined DB as a director, is based in New York and reports to Simon Behan, global head of fund services sales. In his new role, Sheller leads the bank's fund services sales efforts to hedge funds, private equity funds, and real estate funds. In addition, he also oversees traditional fund services sales in Latin America.

Fund services offers administrative, custodial and banking services to hedge funds, private equity-real estate funds, fund of funds, ETFs, UCITS, and other alternative investment vehicles, from start-up through growth to maturity.
