BlueBay Hires Moore IR Exec.

BlueBay Asset Management has added a Moore Capital Management veteran to its sales team.

Richard Blake was named a director at the London-based hedge fund and is charged with building its alternatives business.

"I'm pleased to have Richard join BlueBay at a time when we are seeing a growing demand for our existing a new offerings in both the illiquid and liquid alternative space," BlueBay head of sales Mattias Højmark-Jensen said. "He brings a wealth of experience and will enable us to build on our strong footprint in this important market."

Blake was head of investor relations for Europe at Moore. Prior to joining that firm, he was an analyst and portfolio manager at EIM and Commerzbank Alternative Investment Strategies.
