Hedge Fund Redemptions Rise In Sept.

Hedge fund redemptions ticked up this month, according to SS&C Technologies.

The SS&C GlobeOp Forward Redemption Indicator rose from 4% in August to 4.21% this month. The metric measures the sum of forward redemption notices received by hedge funds administered by SS&C's GlobeOp platform.

"Forward redemptions increased slightly in September, with the bulk of activity reflecting quarter-end requests," SS&C CEO Bill Stone said.
