Litman Gregory Asset Management has tapped Hall Capital Partners alumnus Jason Steuerwalt as senior research analyst on its asset management team.

Steuerwalt worked in the credit and absolute return research group at Hall Capital, covering fixed income, credit/distressed/multi-strategy hedge funds and private credit funds. Prior to that, he served in the equity strategies research group, covering long-only and long-short equity managers.

“Jason brings a deep, nuanced knowledge of alternatives and manager research more broadly,” said Litman Gregory chief investment officer Jeremy DeGroot in a statement. “He will play a critical role helping us identify talented money managers in the alternatives space and beyond.”

Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Litman Gregory is an asset management firm offering investment management, research services, and mutual funds.
