GLG's White Stops Running Funds, Starts Advising On Man Strategy

After nearly a decade managing money at GLG Partners, John White's focus is moving to the bigger picture.

White has retired from active fund management at Man Group's GLG unit and instead will serve as an adviser to GLG co-founder and Man CEO Emmanuel Roman. White will work on strategic initiatives in his new post.

White's four funds have passed into the hands of Nick Judge and Charlie Long, who now manage the UK Select, Alpha Select, UK Income and Alpha Select Alternatives funds.
