Skylar Taps Centaurus Vet Bogese

Oct 9 2013 | 11:18am ET

Houston-based Skylar Capital Management has hired Bryan Bogese as a power and gas trader.

Bogese was previously a trader at Centaurus Energy, where he worked with Skylar founder Bill Perkins for seven years. Prior to Centaurus, Bogese was a power trader at Dominion. Most recently, he was an independent trader with his own firm Sabot Energy.

In his new role at Skylar, Bogese will focus on eastern U.S. markets.

Perkins founded Skylar last year after Centaurus founder John Arnold retired and shuttered the hedge fund.
