Moore Europe Profit Up

Oct 14 2013 | 10:31am ET

Moore Capital Management's London office posted a slightly higher profit last year, one in which the firm posted decidedly middle-of-the-road returns.

Moore Capital Europe earned £32.2 million in 2012, it said in a regulatory filing, on £95 million in revenue. In 2011, the unit earned £26.6 million on £76.6 million profit.

The unit earned the profit despite the departure of star trader Greg Coffey, who left Moore a year ago after four years of disappointing returns.
