Investors are pulling money out of hedge funds this month, according to SS&C Technologies.

The SS&C GlobeOp Capital Movement Index is down 1.28% for October. The benchmark measures monthly net hedge fund flows.

"Capital activity volume was up for the month, with redemptions outpacing subscriptions, representing typical quarter-end rebalancing," SS&C CEO Bill Stone said.

SS&C added that hedge funds returned 1.84% last month.
