Lehman Brothers named one of its top hedge fund analysts its new chief financial officer today. Erin Callan, who has headed the firm’s Global Hedge Fund Coverage unit since its establishment last year, will succeed Chris O’Meara on Dec. 1.
O’Meara, who becomes global head of risk management, has served as CFO since December 2004.
In her role as head of global hedge fund coverage, Callan played a role in several major deals, including the Fortress Investment Group initial public offering.
In Callan’s stead at the hedge fund group, Brian Reilly has been named chief of the U.S. team. At press time, Lehman had no information about Callan’s successor for non-U.S. coverage.
