Consultancy Lures Mako COO For Hedge-Fund Startups

Consultancy KB Associates has added an expert in hedge-fund startups.

Peter Northcott was named an executive director at the firm's London office and will offer start-up, due-diligence and change management advice to hedge fund clients in the British capital. He joins the firm from Mako Global Investors, where he was chief operating officer.

"I am delighted to be joining KB Associates, which has an outstanding reputation for advising and supporting hedge funds and hedge fund managers," Northcott said. "I am looking forward to helping our clients, in what is a challenging environment, to successfully execute launches and attract investors."

In addition to Mako, Northcott has a long background in hedge funds, and formerly worked at Apollo Global Management, Caliburn Capital Partners and Mulvaney Capital Management, in addition to posts at ANZ, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley and JPMorgan Chase.
