Eaton Vance Adds Serone's Tiffen

Eaton Vance Management has hired floating-rate loan veteran Howard Tiffen to serve as a senior portfolio adviser.

Tiffen's long career has taken him to Barclays, HSBC's Wardley division, Wells Fargo, Continental Bank, Bank of America, ING Investments Van Kampen Investment, Pilgrim Investments and Morgan Stanley Investment Management. After retiring from MSIM, Tiffen joined London hedge fund Serone Capital Management as an executive adviser.

Tiffen will continue to serve on Serone's advisory board.
