Tabar Joins Schulte Roth & Zabel Investment Group

Sam Tabar has joined Schulte Roth & Zabel’s investment management group as an associate in the New York office.

Tabar has spent the past 13 years in the hedge fund industry, working in senior capacities and both the buy and sell sides. He was head of capital introductions, Asia Pacific for the Bank of America Merrill Lynch and a managing director, sales and business development, for PMA Investment Advisors (a member of the SPARX Group).

In his new role at Schulte Roth & Zabel, Tabar will practice in the areas of domestic and offshore hedge funds, including fund formations and restructurings as well as representing investors in the U.S., UK and Asia.

The Schulte Roth & Zabel investment management group consists of nearly 100 lawyers in offices in New York, Washington, D.C. and London. The firm represents nearly half of the 100 largest hedge funds and over 3,000 investment funds.
