Investors moved to pull more money from hedge funds this month than last, according to hedge fund administrator SS&C Technologies.

The SS&C GlobeOp Forward Redemption Indicator, which measures forward redemption notices received by hedge funds on SS&C's GlobeOp platform, jumped to 5.09% this month. In October, the number was 3.36%.

"In line with historical averages, redemption requests increased for the month of November, reflecting year-end investor rebalancing," SS&C CEO Bill Stone said.
