SSARIS Names Lucek CEO, Covino President

Hedge fund SSARIS Advisors will ring in the new year with a new leadership team.

Paul Lucek will succeed Mark Rosenberg as CEO of the State Street Global Advisors unit on Jan. 1, while Robert Covino will take on the new role of president. Rosenberg will remain co-chairman until the end of next year, when he will retire.

Both Lucek and Covino will retain their current positions as well as their new ones. The former is chief investment officer of SSARIS' hedge-fund unit, and the latter executive vice president for business development. Rosenberg's post as global chief investment officer will be eliminated, Pensions & Investments reports.
