Conn. Firm Names Managing Director

Hedge fund manager Ironwood Capital Management has hired Victor Budnick as a managing director. Budnick joins the Avon, Conn.-based firm from Sound Venture Partners, a venture capital firm, where served as a managing director.

Ironwood Capital specializes in late stage investments in the distribution, consumer products, business services, healthcare products and services and manufacturing sectors within the Eastern United States. The firm has $73 million is assets under management.
