Mount Kellett Adds Blackstone's Kandrac

Mount Kellet Capital Management has a new real-estate specialist.

The New York-based firm has hired Martin Kandrac as a managing director, Property Week reports. Kandrac joins the firm from the Blackstone Group, where he held the same post.

Kandrac spent more than a decade at Blackstone in London, leaving the firm in September. He focused on hotel and retail acquisitions in Europe and joined the private-equity giant from Goldman Sachs.
