Ivaldi Capital has bolstered its Asia efforts with the hire of a former Morgan Stanley strategist.
Rob Hart joined the London-based hedge fund last week in Singapore, focusing on gaming, real-estate and consumer stocks, Bloomberg News reports. Hart spent five years at hedge fund Sansar Capital Management before leaving that firm in March; he joined Sansar in 2008 after a dozen years at Morgan Stanley.
Hart's strategy is Ivaldi's third in Asia and ninth overall.
Ivaldi's additions did not end with Hart. The hedge fund also named former Morgan Stanley risk manager Johan Karlsson to lead its own risk-management team in London, and former GLG Partners trader James Oliver to create a central-dealing group in the British capital.
