Carlyle Founders Earn Combined $750M

The three founders of private-equity giant Carlyle Group split $750 million last year, the firm said today.

David Rubenstein, Daniel D’Aniello and William Conway each earned $98.9 million in base salary and dividends. Conway took home an additional $252.8 million in investment income, D’Aniello $109.5 million and Rubenstein $108.1 million.

Carlyle’s fourth-quarter profit tripled.
