JMC Platform Fund I Closes At $125M

JMC Capital Partners has closed the JMC Platform Fund I fund at $125 million, having exceeded its $100 million target.

The Boston, Mass.-based private equity firm said overall, the fund was oversubscribed. 

"We are very pleased with the interest and support we received from our investors. We look forward to continuing our operationally focused strategy in the industrial lower-middle market in North America, where we believe we can continue to achieve strong returns for our investors," said Michael A. D'Amelio, managing partner at JMC Capital Partners, in a statement.

The investor base of Fund I consists largely of institutional investors and family offices.
   
JMC was founded in 1999.
