EIM’s Busson Breaks Up With Actress Thurman

Apr 21 2014 | 10:40am ET

For the second time, actress Uma Thurman and her fund of hedge funds manager fiancé, Arpad Busson, have split up.

The couple became engaged—for the second time—in 2012, the same year that they welcomed their first child together. They had previously dated from 2007 through 2009, when Thurman ended their first engagement, and got back together in 2011.

Thurman’s and Busson’s relationship has reportedly been strained by distance: She lives in New York and he in London. Last year, Busson agreed to sell his Swiss fund of funds EIM to Gottex Fund Management, joining the latter firm as chairman.
