Charlotte, N.C.-based Babson Capital, with over $198 billion in assets under management, has made 12 new hires for its emerging markets debt team.
The latest hires complete a process begun last October with the addition of Ricardo Adrogue and Brigitte Posch to spearhead the new emerging market debt team under the leadership of Russ Morrison, managing director and head of global fixed income. The team is now fully staffed and integrated with Babson's fixed-income investment teams in the U.S. and Europe.
“Our global credit research team consists of seasoned investment professionals with deep expertise that spans the full credit spectrum,” said Morrison. “Adding a robust emerging market component to our platform supports our efforts to bring comprehensive, multi-credit solutions to our clients.”
Babson recently launched two emerging market debt funds in Europe, and plans to expand its offerings over the near term.
