Barclays’ top spokesman in the U.S. is leaving the bank to join hedge fund Elliott Management.

Michael O’Looney has served as head of communications in the U.S. He is the latest of a raft of top Barclays executives to leave the bank.

Among the others exiting are Barclays Americas chief Skip McGee, with whom O’Looney worked closely, the Financial Times reports. O’Looney was also reportedly close to former CEO Robert Diamond, who was ousted in 2012 amidst a rate-rigging scandal.
