Hedge fund Mariner Investment Group has hired a CRT Capital Group interest-rate trader.

Marx Bowens joined New York-based Mariner earlier this month. A member of the $11 billion firm’s $500 million Silvermine team, Bowens will focus on rates strategies.

“We’re at the point where the four global developed-market central banks are going to be operating in different directions,” co-chief investment officer Basil Williams told Bloomberg News.
