Ex-Coller Manager To HSBC

HSBC Alternative Investments has tapped a former Coller Capital executive to bolster its private-equity secondaries business.

Kutty Dutta was named a director at HAIL, with responsibility for origination and due diligence across secondary, primary and co-investment opportunities, Financial News reports.

Dutta was an investment manager at Coller from 2006 until his exit at the end of last year. He formerly worked at Standard Chartered, Morgan Stanley and Invicta Capital.
