Cohen’s Ex Gets Fifth Lawyer

Jun 2 2014 | 6:27am ET

Steven Cohen’s ex-wife's explosive lawsuit against the SAC Capital Advisors founder is now five years old. And in those five years, Patricia Cohen has now gone through five lawyers.

Cohen has again changed representatives, hiring noted trial lawyer Gerald Lefcourt, the New York Post reports. Lefcourt follows Joshua Dratel, whom Cohen hired about a year ago.

The change in attorney follows a setback for Patricia Cohen’s legal case, which accuses her husband—from whom she was divorced 24 years ago—of hiding assets from her during that split. A federal judge in January dismissed her racketeering claims, which would have entitled her to treble damages.
