Clive Founder Levett To Rejoin Moore

Jun 3 2014 | 2:35am ET

Clive Capital’s founder is returning to Moore Capital Management, seven years after leaving the firm to strike out on his own and eight months since he pulled the plug on the effort.

Chris Levett will start anew at Moore in September, Bloomberg News reports. He’ll serve as a money manager at the firm, based in London.

Levett closed Clive, one of the world’s most prominent commodities hedge funds, last year, its third straight in the red.

Moore has been boosting its staff in Europe, and in April hired former Clive trader Tristan Almada.
