Alden Boosts I.R. With Two Hires

Alden Global Capital has added a pair of investor relations professionals from JPMorgan Chase and Third Avenue Management.

Marc Mendelson and Ben Belfer were named managing directors at the hedge fund, Opalesque reports. Mendelson joins from JPMorgan, where he was head of capital introduction in the Americas. At Alden, he’ll handle institutional investors.

Belfer covered business development and client services at Third Avenue. He’ll focus on family offices and high-net-worth investors at Alden.
