Highbridge Adds Fortress Credit Trader In London

Highbridge Capital Management’s European push has landed a top credit trader from Fortress Investment Group.

Jon Ashley was named a portfolio manager at Highbridge’s principal strategies group in London. He will focus on junk bonds, the Financial Times reports.

Ashley’s hire follows those of York Capital veteran Juan Lamo de Espinosa and Claren Road Asset Management credit trader John Aylward for its London office.

At Fortress, Ashley was a managing director at the firm’s private equity business.
