Black Diamond Boosts Structured Products With Hire

Black Diamond Capital Management has added Jerome Shapiro to manage its structured-product investments.

Shapiro joins the credit hedge fund from One William Street Capital Management, where he was senior vice president and asset-backed portfolio manager. At Black Diamond, Shapiro will cover structured products across its three investment strategies.

Shapiro, a managing director, will be based in Greenwich, Conn.

One William Street told Pensions & Investments that Shapiro’s duties will be assigned to others at the firm.
