The broader markets have been flat this month—but not hedge funds.
The average UCITS-compliant hedge fund is up 0.33% through the middle of this month, according to the HFRU Hedge Fund Composite Index. Equity hedge funds have been the strongest performers, up 0.62% on the month.
Relative-value arbitrage funds rose 0.21% and macro funds 0.1%. Event-driven funds fell 0.23%.
