Hedge fund Candlewood Investment Group has snagged a former Royal Bank of Scotland trader.

Jon Weiss is set to join the $2.9 billion credit hedge fund later this year as a managing partner and portfolio manager, Bloomberg News reports. He was formerly head of RBS’ global special-situations group.

Prior to moving to RBS—where he was promoted to lead special situations two years ago—Weiss worked at Bear Stearns.
