The Children’s Investment Fund Management has lured a senior executive from a firm run by former partner Patrick Degorce.

Sourav Choudhary joined the activist hedge fund last month as a partner, TCI said in a regulatory filing. Most recently, he worked at Thélème Partners, which Degorce founded five years ago after retiring from TCI.

Prior to Thélème, Choudhary worked at Karsch Capital Management and Old Lane Partners.
