Octopus Investments Adds To Private Equity Team

U.K.-based Octopus Investments has appointed Purvi Sapre as an investment manager in the group's private equity team, which specializes in providing debt financing to private equity transactions including public-to-privates, management buy-outs and re-finances.

Before joining Octopus, Sapre was a manager at Barclays Leveraged Finance, a U.K.-based mid-market leveraged finance provider.

Chris Allner, head of Octopus Private Equity, said: “We are committed to maintaining the level of growth that we have achieved to date, and recruiting people of Purvi's caliber is a key part of that process.”

Octopus Investments was established in 2000 and manages some us $825 million in assets.
