Cheyne Rehires Hyman To Head Equities

Former Morgan Stanley executive John Hyman has returned to hedge fund Cheyne Capital Management.

Hyman was named head of equities at the US$7 billion firm, Financial News reports. Hyman was formerly a senior adviser at Cheyne from 2010 until 2011, when he left the firm to join Russian investment bank Renaissance Capital.

Hyman, who rose to serve as chairman and co-CEO of RenCap, stepped down earlier this year.
