Advicent Solutions Acquires Dutch Financial Software Firm Figlo

Milwaukee, Wis.-based financial software specialist Advicent Solutions has acquired the Netherlands-based Figlo.

The acquisition of Figlo, which develops interactive software to help financial advisors communicate with clients, expands Advicent's presence in global markets and enhances its suite of products.

“Technology is improving how clients receive financial advice and increasing the value they expect from their advisors,” said Phil Cunningham, CEO of Advicent Solutions, in a statement. “The combination of Advicent and Figlo will provide advisors with a key competitive advantage and access to the most comprehensive and persuasive planning software available to support their recommendations, resulting in an entirely new level of instantaneous real-time interaction and communication with their clients.”

Founded in 1969, Advicent is a portfolio company of technology-focused private equity shop Vista Equity Partners.
