International Standard Asset Management is launching a foreign-exchange brokerage targeting its fellow hedge funds.

ISAM’s IS Prime will offer prime brokerage, liquidity and risk-management solutions, the firm, led by former Man Group chief Stanley Fink, said. The new business will be led by Jonathan Brewer and Raj Sitlani, who join ISAM from Sucden Financial.

At Sucden, Brewer was head of electronic currency trading sales and Sitlani led global institutional sales.

“What will differentiate IS Prime is our ability to utilize technology and risk-management expertise of ISAM, as well as having access to Stanley’s significant experience in brokerage,” Brewer said.

The launch of IS Prime comes at the end of a banner year for ISAM. In the statement, Fink said that the firm’s flagship fund is up nearly 30% and that its Quantitative Strategies Fund has returned 20%.
