IndexIQ: Hedge Funds Add 0.67% In November

Hedge funds were up 0.67% in November and are now up 3.35% year to date, according to the IQ Hedge Composite Beta Index.

Emerging markets strategies were the only losers last month among the strategies tracked by IndexIQ, shedding 0.62%. They are also down 1.46% YTD.

Market neutral funds added 1.30% on the month (1.71% YTD), long/short strategies were up 1.13% (4.54% YTD), event-driven strategies up 1.12% (5.92% YTD), fixed-income strategies up 1.05% (7.35% YTD) and global macro strategies up 0.05% (1.97% YTD).
