UCITS Hedge Funds Post November Gains

Hedge funds generally had a good month in November and UCITS funds were no exception.

The HFRU Hedge Fund Composite Index, which measures the performance of UCITS hedge funds, was up 0.94% in November, and is now up 4.56% year to date.

All UCITS strategies tracked by the HFR were in the black last month, led by macro strategies, up 1.96% (5.63% YTD). Event-driven funds were up 1.28% on the month (0.74% YTD), equity strategies were up 0.51% on the month (4.31% YTD), and relative-value arbitrage funds were up 0.47% on the month (4.44% YTD).
