Cooper-Hohn Won't Contest Divorce Settlement

The ex-wife of hedge fund billionaire Christopher Hohn will not contest a divorce settlement that awarded her less than half the family fortune.

Jamie Cooper-Hohn said in a statement Thursday she had chosen not to appeal the judgment which awarded her $530 million of the couple’s marital assets.

Cooper-Hohn had sought an equal division of the assets (or $1.5 billion) but Hohn, the founder of The Children's Investment Fund, argued successfully that he had made a “special contribution” to the family’s wealth.

Cooper said she will now focus on her charitable activities and raising her children.
