Dymon Asia Capital was co-founded by Chief Investment Officer Danny Yong, who previously was CIO of Abax Global Capital in Hong Kong and a former Goldman Sachs Group and Citadel trader. Dymon began trading in August 2008 with $113 million of assets and the backing of Paul Tudor Jones’s Tudor Investment Corp. In 2014, Temasek Holdings, Singapore's state-owned investment company, became a minority stakeholder in Dymon Capital, committing $500 million to a hedge-fund seeding venture with the firm.

Random Fact: In addition to Goldman, Citadel and Tudor Investment, Yong also has connections to JP Morgan, where he began his career in 1997.
