Venture Group Names CEO

The Greater Philadelphia Venture Group has announced that Tom Balderston, the president of Balderston Capital, will join the staff of the organization as president and ceo.

Earlier this year the GPVG announced its expanded vision and mission, and more recently announced its new name, Mid-Atlantic Capital Alliance, which will go into effect this Fall. "2006 has been a transition year for the GPVG, one filled with positive and lasting changes, including our embracing a broader mission and constituency," said Mike DiPiano, chairman of the board of the organization.
