SEQA Capital Advisors, the New York-based a quantitative hedge fund that was spun out of SAC Capital, has hired Wolf Kohn as head of research for high speed trading.
In this new role, Kohn will work closely with the firm’s founder and portfolio manager, Andrew Van Hise, to develop trading strategies that utilize high-speed forecasting technology.
Kohn previously founded Clearsight Systems, a software developer for commercial use.
“We are very pleased to welcome Wolf to the SEQA team” said Van Hise, “His research experience and expertise are critically applicable to high speed quantitative trading strategies across a broad array of asset classes.”
