F&C Hires David Walker As PE Head

F&C Investments, an asset management unit of BMO Global Asset Management Corp, has appointed David Walker as an investment director for F&C’s private equity funds.

In his new role, Walker will cover European funds, co-investments and renewables investments. He will report to team head Hamish Mair, who runs an eight-person PE team.

Walker joins F&C from the European Investment Bank in Luxembourg, where he was head of infrastructure funds. Beforehand, he was deputy head of equity funds at the European Investment Fund.

Walker will be based in Edinburgh.

F&C traces its heritage back to the 1858 founding as the Foreign and Colonial Trust.
