ERG Asset Management has appointed Guy Locke as senior adviser to the firm.  Most recently Guy was a partner with Walkers, attorneys at law in the Cayman Islands, and was head of the firm’s global insolvency and restructuring group for over 10 years.
“Guy’s extensive experience in dealing with distressed fund situations such as Long Term Capital and the Bear Stearns High-Grade and Enhanced Leverage funds combined with his legal and practical knowledge of portfolio illiquidity issues further broadens our asset management capability," said George O'Dowd, copPresident of ERG.

ERG is a SEC-registered investment advisor owned jointly by Gottex Fund Management and the Eden Rock Group that was driven by both parties’ experience in winding down large portfolios of illiquid hedge fund assets. The ERG platform enables investors to take effective ownership of the management and disposition of illiquid assets, while maintaining direct control over fees and expenses. To date, 12 mandates have been awarded involving combined assets of over $850 million across a broad spectrum of strategies including real estate, life settlements, corporate loans, energy investments and legal claims.
