Polen Capital Opens Global Growth Strategy to U.S. Investors

Mar 20 2015 | 8:53am ET

Polen Capital has made its Global Growth Equity Strategy available to U.S. investors. The strategy adheres to the same active investment philosophy as Polen’s flagship Focus Growth strategy and invests in a concentrated portfolio of global group of growth businesses.

The portfolio, managed by veteran investment manager Julian Pick, is typically limited to 30 positions.

Pick came to Polen Capital by way of Janus, where he was a research analyst and co- portfolio manager of the Janus Institutional International Equity Portfolio and the Janus Advisor International Equity Fund, and Sands Capital, where he was co-portfolio manager of the company’s Global Growth Strategy fund.

The Global Growth Equity strategy was initially launched on December 30, 2014. A new mutual fund, the Polen Global Growth Fund (PGIIX), which seeks to mirror the management and make-up of the Global Growth strategy, was also opened to new investors on the same date. The Polen Capital Focus Global Growth UCITS Fund was launched on January 29, 2015 for non-U.S. investors.

Polen Capital is headquartered in Boca Raton, FL.
