Jon Stein, the former chief investment officer of Chicago-based AlphaMetrix Investment Advisors, has joined Parker Global Strategies as managing director of strategic initiatives.
In the newly-created position, Stein will be responsible for product development and marketing for the firm in the areas of foreign exchange, portable alpha solutions for commodities and global natural resources, and several PGS investable indices that are in development. He will establish an office for PGS in Chicago and will also serve as a member of the firm’s investment and Management committees. Stein will report to Michael Parker, PGS president.
