Brookwood Adds Two to Portfolio Accounting Team

Brookwood Financial Partners has announced two additions to its portfolio accounting team.

Rachel Oliver and Ryan Cooley have joined the firm at its Beverly, MA headquarters, according to a press release. 

Both executives will serve as portfolio accountants for Brookwood, responsible for the general accounting, financial reporting, budgeting and financial analysis of portfolio properties. 

“Rachel and Ryan are experienced accounting professionals and will enhance our department’s portfolio accounting and investor reporting capabilities,” noted Ericka Ayles, Brookwood’s director of finance, in a statement. “We are confident they will have an immediate impact on the operations of our growing department and we are very excited to have them join our team.”

Before joining Brookwood, Oliver was a property staff accountant for Boston Properties, where she performed account reconciliations and developed financial reports for 14 properties located in the New York region. 

Cooley comes to Brookwood from Brown Brothers Harriman, where he was an alternative investment financial reporting team leader. In this position, he managed a team of financial reporting analysts and prepared quarterly and annual financial statements for clients. Beforehand, he was a senior hedge fund reporting analyst for JPMorgan
